FAQ’s Q. How long are the sailing sessions? A. On a sailing course you have 4 hours on the water and the around 2 hours of theory Q. What happens if it is bad weather on the day? A. If the weather is too bad then we can either organise another day to go out or offer you a refund. Q. Do I need to bring anything to eat? A. Yes, we normally stop for around 20 minutes out on the water for a break and something to eat. Q. What do I need to bring with me? A. You will need something to wear under a wetsuit e.g. swimming costume as well as some shoes that you can get wet. Everything else is provided. Q. What if I can’t swim? A. We recommend that you should be able to swim 50 metres but you will be wearing a buoyancy aid at all times so if you are comfortable in water then you will be fine. Q. Can I pay a deposit? A. We ask that you pay the balance when you book. Q. My child did his stage 2 last year, can he go straight onto the stage 3 course? A. If he has done some sailing since his stage 2 then yes. If he hasn’t then we recommend he does at least 3 ‘play and play’ sessions. This applies for all of our advance courses Q. Can I call up and book? A. Yes you can. We do ask that you are able to pay over the phone for any courses less than one month away. |
