Wells-next-the-Sea provides a perfect venue for dinghy sailors who are keen to learn day sailing techniques for short coastal passages or exploring the many creeks in the area. This diverse course will allow you to brush up on skills, as well as planning your trip. You do the navigation and pilotage under the supervision of an instructor and
yachtmaster. Safety aspects are also covered including boat preparation and problem solving.

Requirements: Level 2 or equivalent.

This course is all about improving your decision making whilst out on the water, the emphasis is on increasing self reliance. By the end of this course you should be able to control your boat safely in any conditions.

Advanced boat handling on high performance boats, this course trains you to excel in all wind conditions, sailing the boat to best advantage at all times. Learn to effectively use all the controls and thrive in the sailing environment. The emphasis is on coaching by a specially qualified advanced instructor.

Spinnakers

Spinnakers represent a fun and rewarding challenge to those willing to learn. The day includes rigging and a lot of practice, allowing you to enjoy the exhilaration of flying kites!
