With a practising professional skipper in house we can provide a complete service for owners, or prospective owners of yachts.

We can draw up itineraries and pilot plans to provide you with all the information you require to thoroughly enjoy your boating.

New boat? Allow us to provide expertise and to advise on all aspects of yacht skippering and trouble shooting.

We also act as brokers so if you have a boat to buy or sell, allow us to help in this often difficult and frustrating undertaking.

Designed to cover all the relevant material to navigate a yacht in
favourable conditions. An introduction to navigation and advanced seamanship theory. Books are no replacement for expert personal tuition. Genuinely fascinating content in the warm and dry, just what skippering should be and ensures you won’t get lost in the classroom!

Short Range Certificate (VHF)

1 day £80

Mobile phones can’t replace VHF handsets as the primary means of marine communication and it is of critical importance to operate the system correctly. In one day you cover the whole strata including the General Maritime Distress Safety System and Digital Selective Calling.

The advanced study of navigation and meteorology whilst remaining fun and achievable. Our expert instructors will ensure you leave entirely confident in your abilities to navigate in the most demanding conditions. Complex tidal heights, making offshore passages and piloting yachts, are just part of the course syllabus.
